New Job

Ok so I have put it off long enough. I do have some new interesting news.

As of September 8th, 2006 I will no longer be working at Irsfeld.

I was interviewed a few weeks ago for this company called Wexler. They really liked me and told me that they would get back to me. Well a few days later they called and said all they had to do is a background check on me, and then they would make me an offer. Well after a week or so I got a call saying that my background had cleared, and all they had to do was to clear it with the hiring manager.

Well a couple days later they called me back saying that they wanted me to start as soon as I could. But they knew that I had to put in a 2 week notice at my current job and they were ok with that. They also know that I need that time off in October to go home and such. And they are ok with that as well.

I think this job will be really good for me. It pays a little bit more then I am getting here, it's a 40 hour work week instead of 35, I get better benefits, I get a 401K, and it's closer to where I live now. Not to mention the environment seems like a lot of fun.

I don't know a lot about the company. But while I was in my interview she asked me to name a reality TV show that I watch. I of course said big brother, and she said that her company was the company that went in and put all the video surveillance up. She also said celebrities and what not go in all the time, and director's and such. So that should be interesting.

I am really looking forward to starting this new job. I think I will have a lot of fun there. She said that they have monthly bbq's for the employee's and that it's a really laid back place.

In other news...Sonny will be gone by the 5th of September hopefully. That's when he asked to stay till, cuz he is shooting a short student film. So

I am looking forward to having the apartment to ourselves for a month or so before Nira moves in. Oh and we found out last week that along with Nira moving in, so is her boyfriend. So that will be nice, so we can split the rent 4 ways instead of 3.

Last week Jon's parents were in town. They drove cross country and what not. We had a lot of fun while they were out here. We hung out a lot and went to dinner (Buco Di Beppo). It's a little Italian restaurant and it was amazing. That is where I took Jon and his mom when she was out here last time. She really enjoyed it, so she had Jon's dad take us there while they were here. The other nights, Jon's dad always made a fabulous dinner.

October is getting closer and closer. I am looking forward to going home for my birthday. I plan on having a lot of fun while I am there. I am also really looking forward to Vegas. That is going to be a ton of fun.

Well that's about it! Love you guys! I do have a house phone for those who can't reach me on my cell phone from time to time. If you want it just let me know!
