Well even though my mom posted a comment about the doctor's I will tell you guys everything else.

Went to the doctor's today and I am pretty sure that my mucus plug or whatever came out, because it looked just like it said it would in the book. When I actually saw the doctor she did an exam and told me that I am about 2 centimeters dilated, and that everything is thinning out great. She said that she would put the baby about about 7 lbs 1 ounce and that I should have an easy labor. But she probably tells that to everyone lol. She also said that I should probably be delivering this weekend sometime. But also made an appointment for me next week just in case I don't. They hooked me up to the monitor's to do a non-stress test and everything looked really good. She was sleeping for the first half but then I would poke my side and she would poke me back in the same spot, it was pretty funny. Jon kept yelling at me, but it woke her up and made her more active.

That's about all the new news I have. Went out and about yesterday in hopes it would send me into labor but no such luck. We went mini golfing and had a little bbq at my friend Chels's house. Then went out to a local bar for wing night (they half 10 cent chicken wings), and then to another local bar for karoke night.

Well love you all and will post again when there is something to post.

Well not a whole lot of new news to post on my end. The baby is being stubborn and is still in my tummy. She is moving around still, and I am having tiny irregular contractions, but nothing to serious. I don't think she ever will come out. I think that she will just live in there forever :) I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow (unless I go into labor tonight). They will give me another ultra sound, and check all the good stuff that they normally do.

My parents and my sister are coming out this weekend and I am very excited, because I get to see my little monster Bryan. Hopefully I will have the baby by then, or while they are here. If not at least I will get some family time in.

Jon started his chemistry class this week. They actually cancelled the class he had in Rome, and didn't even let him know. But he is able to take the class in Utica, which is about 20 mintues away from here. He also took his entrance exam today to get into the nursing college and he did really well and got a 88% overall. So hopefully he will be starting there in the fall.

That's about all the news I have of now. I love you all and will update everyone when I have more news. I will give whoever wants a call when the baby is born, just let me know. If you don't want a call, I will be posting the day I come home from the hospital (or have Jon post for me). Marisa I know you want an update as soon as something happens...I already have that covered :)

Love you all!!

New Belly

This is the most recent picture of my growing tummy. I took it earlier today. And with any luck it will be shrinking down any day now lol.
I had a little scare yesterday and had to go to the hospital. About 6 o'clock I started to worry, because I had not felt the baby move at all. So I called the doctor's office, but since it was after hours, the calls go thruogh to the Materity ward at the hospital. They told me to come in since I had tried everything to get her to move. When I got there they hooked up monitors to my stomach to listen to the baby's heartbeat. It also showed when she was moving. It showed that everything was fine and that she was moving around normally, although I was still feeling nothing. After about an hour and a half or so they sent me home, and told me to try eating something and drinking and to lay on my side for an hour and to keep my hands on my belly to try to feel her move. They told me that if I still didn't feel her move after an hour to call back. Well after an hour had past and still I felt nothing, I called and they had me come back in for a sonogram and some more monitering. The sonogram showed that my placenta or whatever it is called was positioned where I probably wouldn't be able to feel the baby kick. They were able to push on my belly and feel her roll around, but I felt nothing. Maybe because I was not sure what I was feeling for, since usually she is always kicking and I don't have to feel for her. After the sonogram I was able to feel her kick. I guess they must of pushed everything around, because she kept me up all night playing inside my tummy. Jon asked if they could tell for sure that the baby was a girl and the lady checked but said that since I am so far along that she couldn't really see anything.
I go to the actual doctor tomorrow for a check up, and for her to check and see if I am dilated anymore. Not really looking forward to that since it's painful for me.
In other news Jon is doing good. He has been working 4 nights a week at the casino, working the midnight shift. But as of next week he will be only working 2 nights. He will start his Chemistry class this coming Monday. He will be going Mon, Tues, and Thurs from 5:30-9:30 till mid June. And hopefully he will be starting the nursing college this fall. He has to take an entrance exam on May 23rd (same day as I am due). We were going to have him see if he could take it another day, but when I was talking to my mom about it, she said not to since whatever day he changed it to would be the day I go into labor, which would probably happen.
Besides that there is really no more news to post about. Love you all and I will post again soon!!

Ok so I have been looking into hotels for those coming out for my wedding. But I am having trouble, because I am not really sure what days I am looking for. Plus I am unsure of who is coming. I know I have not sent out invitations yet, which may be a good thing now. Um...I am going to talk to Robin to see if she has already requested the time off of work, and if she hasn't then I can look into pushing the date a week ahead or back. That way it is easier for everyone. Since we haven't told anyone yet (besides close family) about the date, it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

So if I could get dates in which you plan to come out assuming the wedding stays the same date, that would be great. I know of 4 hotels in the city of Rome. There is the Rome motel (which is not the nicest place), the Quality Inn, The Beeches, and The Ecno Lodge. Now outside of Rome there is the 4 hotels and Inn's connected to and by the Casino. I looked and most of them are booked for the weekeend.

Besides that not a whole lot to post. I went to the doctor's today and I am half a cent. dialated (sp?), and 50% efaced (sp?). I don't really know what that means lol, but it's good I guess. The doctor told me that I should probably have my hospital bags packed just to be sure. He said although I am not dialated very much now, that can change quickly without any warning. All my blood test came back good. My iron is up from my last test, but is still low. They just said to keep taking my pills everyday.

That's about all the new news on my end. Just tryin g to figure out the hotel situation for you guys. I asked Jonathan if he knew if anything was going on that weekend at the casino and he said nothing that he can think of, but I guess he said that it gets busy at the end of the summer.

Love everyone!

Well there is not a whole lot new to post about on my end. We lost power again this past Monday, but only for a few hours this time. We had a bad thunder storm and this time the whole city lost power.

Um, besides that things have been pretty low key. Just hanging out with the dogs. Tango is now going outside with Cha Cha. Her leash is a little bit more shorter then Cha Cha's so she can't go quite as far. We are looking into getting the invisible fence that way they can just run around and we don't have to worry about putting them on leashes.

I went to the doctors this weekend and they did all the good stuff that they do to girls. I am starting to get a little scared of actually having to give birth. If I can't handle the woman poking around in there, how am I going to handle having a baby actually come out. Besides that she said that everything looks great. The baby is positioned right, and is the right size, and everything is on schedule. More then likely I won't have another ultra sound, because everything looks good. Unless I have a problem then they won't do one. They also did some blood work to see if my Iron level is back to normal.

I got some great things in the mail this week. I got the car seat that I wanted...Thank you very much Aunt Adrienne. I got a box full of all kinds of goodies from Aunt Erika..Thank you!!! And I got a bunch of new books to read from Aunt Kathy...Thank you!

I'm starting to look at wedding dresses online, which is kind of exciting. I found a few that I really like. But because I don't know exactly we are having the wedding at, I don't know what kind of dress I want to get. I only chose a date because I knew I had to let people that live in Michigan and what not when it was. We know that we are going to be having the reception at the house, but we are not sure if we want to get married in a church or at the house as well. Something we are working on trying to figure out, but I have come to the conclusion that Jon is useless...he just says he doesn't care.

Well that's about all. Thanks again for all the great things that I got this week!

Love you guys!

More stuff

Well there are a few new things to post about so here it goes.

We finally got the crib put together, Jon's dad did it a few weeks ago. It's starting to look really nice in the room now. It's actually got stuff in it lol. We still have a few things left to get like a dresser, carseat, stroller, diaper bag, high chair, bouncy seat, and other random things. But it looks good with the crib in there. I am going to ask Jon to put together the bassinet this weekend (I am no good with putting things together...if I did then they probably wouldn't be safe lol). I have put it off for long enough, mostly because I am lazy and since the bassinet is going in our room, I would have to figure out a place to put it and clean up and everything, and I haven't felt like doing that, but I have to soon, since I don't have that much longer.

The weather here is finally nice. Monday we got quite a snow storm, and our power was off from 8 in the morning until 10:30 at night. It was awful. I resorted to talking to the dogs for most of the day. Because Jon's mom is on her spring break from work and is in Chicago for the week, his dad is down in Albany for the week working, and Jon worked the midnight shift so he slept most of the day. So I had no tv, music, movies, computer, or anyone to talk to. I read a little bit, but I can only sit still and do one thing for so long without getting bored.

I went to the doctor's today. They said that everything looks good. The baby's head is down and my belly is the right size. I have to start going once a week now, instead of twice a week. Which is a pain in the butt, but it's what I gotta do.

Well that's about all. Love and miss everyone like crazy :)

Stuff

Well the baby shower was this past weekend. I had fun, mostly because I had my family here. Everyone else was drinking and singing karoke...not my cup of tea. But it was nice that my parents and sister and Robin and Aunt Sandy came. I had a lot of fun with them here. It made the whole thing so so much better. I couldn't see myself having all that much fun if they weren't here. We didn't do a lot of "baby shower" things. I think the only thing that was baby shower related was the opening of gifts.

I got a lot of cool things. A lot of clothes, and bibs, and the normal baby stuff. But I also got a diaper genie, the baby bath that I had put up on my target registery, a beautiful bassinet from Sally (Thank you so much!!!), and a crib from my parents. My girlfriends from out here made me a beautiful scrapbook for the baby.

Besides the baby shower, nothing exciting has happened. Jon is working more midnight shifts at the casino, so he is quitting the Salvation Army. This week will be here last week working there. I went to the doctor today and everything is looking good. I'm in my 7th month, and counting down the days till the baby comes out. We are starting to plan our wedding, since we won't have much time when the baby actually comes. Hopefully we will have a date picked out soon so I can let everyone know.

Our puppy is doing good. Crazy as ever though. She went to the vet and everything looks good for her as well. The two dogs together are getting along much better now. They play all the time, although Cha Cha would rather not lol.

Well I can't post pictures right now of the baby shower because the computer down stairs, for some reason won't allow me to upload. But I will post some in the next few days.

That's about all for now. Love you all!!
